Assistant Project Manager- Waterproofing

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the planning and execution of large-scale waterproofing projects. The APM will work closely with the Project Manager and project teams to ensure successful project delivery from pre-construction through completion. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your construction management career.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and documentation.

· Coordinate project logistics, materials procurement, and subcontractor scheduling.

· Support the Project Manager in day-to-day project administration, reporting, and communication.

· Track and manage RFI’s, submittals, and change orders.

· Act as a liaison between field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

· Participate in client meetings and site visits to support project updates and issue resolution.

· Foster a collaborative and proactive project environment.

· Support implementation of quality control procedures and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

· Assist in job site inspections and ensure documentation complies with company and regulatory standards.

· Assist in monitoring project costs and budgets.

· Help prepare billing, invoicing, and cost tracking reports.

· Review subcontractor pay applications and vendor invoices.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· 1–3 years of experience in construction project support, ideally in waterproofing.

· Familiarity with project management software (Procore, Foundation, MS Project, Primavera, or similar).

· Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

· Working knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
