General and specialized mechanics
Perform body repairs on vehicles by restoring, replacing, or repairing damaged panels, doors, and other structural components.
Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of damage and determine the best repair methods.
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair, replace, or restore vehicle body parts.
Sand, fill, and smooth vehicle surfaces to prepare for painting.
Remove and install bumpers, trim, glass, and other vehicle components.
Align and straighten frames, structures, and body parts using specialized equipment.
Follow manufacturer repair guidelines and industry standards to ensure high-quality repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Communicate with team members and management to provide repair status updates.
Ensure all repairs meet customer satisfaction and safety standards.
Keep accurate records of repairs and parts used for each job.
Perform light mechanical work, including suspension repairs and other tasks as needed.
Provide customers with cost estimates and timelines for repair completion.
