Position: Change Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA

Summary of Position:

As part of the Operational Excellence team, the Change Manager is an experienced leader responsible for managing transformational change initiatives and driving results through strategic adoption. In this role, you will partner with senior leaders, project teams, and stakeholders to align change efforts with business objectives and organizational culture. You will develop and execute change management strategies, conduct impact assessments, and lead communication and training efforts to ensure smooth transitions, minimize resistance, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Your leadership will be critical to the success of organizational change initiatives and the achievement of long-term strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Change Management Planning: Design and execute comprehensive change management strategies aligned with organizational needs and employee impact.
  • Communication Planning: Strengthen internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging and fostering employee engagement around key initiatives.
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budgets, and timelines; ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Impact Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses to identify change impacts, risks, resistance points, and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report progress against change objectives, measure success metrics, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, capturing feedback and driving active participation in change efforts.
  • Training and Support: Design and deliver training programs to equip employees with the knowledge and tools needed for successful adoption.
  • Communications Development: Create clear, targeted communications to inform and educate employees about changes and their benefits.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring transparency and knowledge transfer.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to refine and enhance change management practices and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3–5 years of experience in change management, project management, organizational development, or related disciplines.
    • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering change initiatives in complex environments.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to inspire, influence, and motivate teams through change.
    • Agile, adaptable, and resilient in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
    • Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desirable.
  • Experience:
    • Experience managing change and communication efforts within large or global organizations.
