Join to apply for the F-35 Initial Retrofit Plan Developer role at BAE Systems, Inc. Job Description This position is for an F-35 Initial Retrofit Plan Developer working onsite in Ft Worth, Texas. The role involves supporting the Lockheed Martin (LM) Modifications, Upgrades, and Overhaul (MUO) Team within F-35 Global Sustainment by developing Air System modification plans. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Tier 1 partners (LM, NGC, and BAE Systems) and the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JSFPO) during the development of aircraft modification plans, capabilities, and deliveries. Primary Duties Provide modification and technical expertise to support the development and planning of Air System modification activities. Develop retrofit solutions that include planning elements such as scope, approach, team composition, facilities, maintenance level, assessment, duration, and schedule impacts. Deliver planning products like ROMs and Initial Retrofit Plans to support program timelines and change requests. Support maintainers and modification teams during TCTD validation and post-release field modifications. Required Education, Experience, & Skills B.S. degree in Aerospace, Engineering, Aviation Management, or related technical field with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Education may be waived based on experience. Experience with the F-35 program. US military aircraft maintenance experience. Proficiency with F-35 tools such as JTD, PDM, JDL, VAS, and MS Office suite. Pay and Benefits Salary Range: $86,460 - $146,982, based on market and candidate qualifications.
