Summary

We are actively recruiting for an Hourly Interviewer for out Mount Vernon, WA facility. This position is responsible for helping manage the staffing levels in the operation by recruiting and selecting qualified candidates. The Hourly Interviewer is the face of the Company to the community and prospective employees. This position also will help orientate new associates to the Company.

 

Benefits

This position has a target wage of $23.00 - $27.00 per hour with negotiated increases. Overtime may be available.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining operations labor force and overhead numbers as required
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates via on-line recruiting resources, local community involvement, and local institutions (i.e., colleges and the Employment Security Commission).
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews of potential candidates
  • Utilize all HR reporting tools (i.e., labor force, headcount, and other required reports) to perform audits and generate reports.
  • Inform management on trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to remain competitive
  • Coordinate internal and external job fairs, college visits, and other recruiting events
  • Make employment offers meeting legal and Company criteria
  • Maintain all necessary legal and regulatory documents
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve HR metrics goals

 

 

 

Minimum Education

AA degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent related experience plus 2 – 3 years of related work experience preferred.

SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred

 

Experience Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of HRIS
  • Experience using HR/Payroll database systems
  • Proven success in handling administrative responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability for accuracy, meeting deadlines, working with shifting priorities, and ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Bilingual 

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

When in an office environment:

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings
  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another
  • May need to access files, supplies, and equipment
  • Work is activity is in an office, open-partitioned cubicle environment

 

When in a plant environment:

  • Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces
  • May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity
  • May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit
  • May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
  • May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food processing facility
  • Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
