IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is proud to partner with a global leader in the chemical industry to recruit a Maintenance – Reliability Engineer for their growing operation in the Greater Cleveland area.

Are you a results-driven engineer with a passion for equipment integrity, reliability, and continuous improvement? This is your chance to step into a high-impact role where you'll lead root cause analysis, optimize mechanical integrity programs, and drive plant reliability from the ground up.

💼 What You’ll Do:

• Lead plant reliability efforts and support maintenance execution across site operations.
• Analyze performance data to identify "bad actors" and eliminate recurring issues.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance (PM) and mechanical integrity programs.
• Facilitate RCA sessions and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Track KPIs such as Mean Time Between Repairs (MTBR) to optimize performance.
• Manage compliance with ISO 9000 and the company’s safety & integrity standards.
• Collaborate across departments and vendors to ensure operational readiness.
• Oversee inspections and capital projects (up to $150K).
• Support PHA, MOC reviews, and incident investigations.

🎓 What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment .
• Deep knowledge of rotating and fixed equipment: pumps, compressors, exchangers, etc.
• Experience with reliability tools, mechanical integrity systems, and best practices.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• SAP and maintenance management system experience (preferred).
