Okta Workflows is a powerful no-code automation platform that allows our customers to orchestrate complex identity-centric processes in a visual, drag-and-drop interface. Customers leverage Workflows to solve critical business problems such as complex provisioning and deprovisioning, automated security remediation, dynamic notifications, detailed reporting, streamlined customer identity management, and more. As a Product Manager for Okta Workflows, you'll be responsible for evolving and scaling the Workflows platform to exceed customer expectations. Your work will empower customers across a range of technical backgrounds to meet complex and forward-looking use cases that extend far beyond Okta's out-of-the-box capabilities. Responsibilities Connect with customers and internal teams to distill feature asks and pain points into true requirements that deliver broad customer value, paying close attention to the diverse user personas of a no-code platform. Develop roadmaps that make hard trade-offs, prioritizing the highest value work first and balancing new features with platform stability. Build compelling hypotheses about user needs and find cost-effective ways to validate assumptions Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure the successful launch and adoption of Workflow enhancements. Conduct research and analysis to identify evolving customer needs, using this information to inform innovation, product decisions, and prioritization. Define and communicate clear product requirements, including features, user experience, and technical specifications, to engineering teams. Leverage product data to continually improve existing functionality and work across the business to drive adoption and success. Track industry trends and think strategically to develop solutions that are differentiated from the competition in the automation and identity spaces. Be the subject matter expert for your product area, enabling your counterparts in marketing and technical sales with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively position Workflows. Required: 2-3+ years of product management experience in enterprise-scale SaaS products, or an equivalent background demonstrating core product management competencies. Direct experience in product management around a "builder" tool, specifically within areas like business process management, automation, workflow, orchestration, or integration services. A BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience that provides a solid foundation for rationalizing and influencing complex technical design decisions. Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal, and written) and a highly collaborative approach, enabling effective work with customers and colleagues from various functions and backgrounds. A strong history of achieving tangible business results through the successful delivery of products, features, or capabilities you've owned. Keen analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a proven capacity to formulate effective action plans even when faced with incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs. A genuine passion for Okta’s significant opportunity and growth, alongside a strong intellectual curiosity that drives you to learn and delve deeply into both business and technical aspects. Preferred: Experience with no-code/low-code software platforms, particularly in a product management capacity. Experience with no-code/low-code integration platforms (iPaaS). Experience with back-end systems, APIs, and/or platform development. Demonstrated experience across the product management lifecycle for enterprise products or services, with an emphasis on scale considerations impacting user experience. Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols and products. Advanced degree in a technical or business field. Location Note While this position offers flexibility, it is intended for a San Francisco Bay Area Product Manager . Our teams span all US time zones, and we also have team members in Bangalore, India, and Sydney, Australia, with whom you'll occasionally collaborate. You must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
