JOB TITLE: Quality & Commissioning Manager DEPARTMENT: Platform Execution REPORTS TO: Director, Quality & Commissioning SUMMARY: The Quality & Commissioning Manager will work closely with Design, Construction, and Operations teams to ensure data center projects meet operational and commissioning program requirements. Primary duties involve overseeing the design, quality installation, and testing of all components, materials, equipment, and systems. The manager will drive successful MEP coordination, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture at the project level.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute procurement strategy, solicit, review, and level proposals, and recommend awards for third-party personnel on all projects. Work with third-party commissioning agents to develop, review, and implement project-specific commissioning plans. Lead and manage MEP coordination efforts for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across hyperscale data center projects. Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful MEP system implementation. Oversee quality & commissioning processes for MEP systems, ensuring adherence to timelines and standards. Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure consistency and excellence. Attend construction progress and pre-installation meetings to monitor construction progress. Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, contractors, vendors, and industry professionals. Seek training and professional development opportunities for self-growth. Provide subject matter expertise, report progress, and train third-party personnel on quality & commissioning programs, including Cx Alloy platform management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred; extensive relevant experience may suffice. 5-7+ years in mission-critical construction with large mechanical and electrical systems, including data center commissioning. Strong knowledge of data center design across North America. Ability to analyze construction documents and manage project schedules, costs, and contracts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and industry applications. Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and stay organized.
