Security Officer/ Shuttle Driver - Missouri Athletic Club

We are seeking a full-time Security Officer / Shuttle Driver to join our team!

MAC is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer / Shuttle Driver to join our team. This dual-role position is critical to maintaining the safety and security of our club, while also ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our members, guest, and staff. We are looking for a reliable individual with strong observation skills, a sense of responsibility, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Security Officer Responsibilities:

  • Enforce Club Rules and Regulations : Monitor and ensure compliance with club policies among members, guests, and staff. Address violations professionally and effectively.
  • Active Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular foot patrols of the club premises, including parking garages, parking lots, and high-traffic areas. Identify and address any safety hazards, suspicious activities, or unauthorized access.
  • Visitors Assistance and Access Control: Provide directions and information to members and guest. Verify identification and ensure compliance with access policies before allowing entry.
  • Incident Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, including property damage, theft, unauthorized individuals, or other unusual occurrences.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations, initiate appropriate protocols, and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises. Coordinate with emergency responders when necessary.
  • Security Camera Monitoring: Monitor all security cameras system, identifying potential threats or suspicious activities. Report and investigate any security concerns using camera footage.
  • Bag and Package Inspections: Conduct inspections of handbags, boxes, and containers carried by employees or visitors leaving the building, ensuring compliance with club policies.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Answer phones professionally, provide accurate information, and communicate effectively with members, guests, and staff.
  • Availability and Reliability: Maintain a flexible schedule with availability for weekdays, weekends, and evening shifts. Demonstrate punctuality and dependability.
  • Proactive Security Awareness: Remain vigilant in identifying potential security threats, maintaining a strong sense of security awareness, and engaging in ongoing training.

Shuttle Driver Responsibilities:

  • Safe and Timely Transportation: Provide safe and efficient shuttle service for members and guest to and from their destination.
  • Compliance with Traffic Laws: Observe all traffic and safety laws, maintaining a clean driving record.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the shuttle is clean, well-kept, and in good operating condition. Report any maintenance issues immediately.
  • Member Comfort and Safety: Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the shuttle, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
  • Route Planning: Efficiently plan routes to avoid delays, ensuring on-time arrivals and departures.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain a courteous and friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service to members and guests.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, SIA licenses, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid Class C CDL license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills for report writing and camera monitoring.
  • Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including weekends, weekdays, and evenings.
